Get ready for the ultimate summer knit with Plumeria, the breezy tank top that’s perfect for sunny days! With its flirty design and engaging construction, this top is a joy to knit and even easier to customize to your unique style.

Plumeria is knit flat and then joined in the round, using a top-down construction that requires minimal seaming (only an inch or two at the underarm.) The intuitive lace body is knit in the round and finished with a charming picot bind-off, giving the top beautiful drape and movement.

But that’s not all - Plumeria includes video tutorials to help you master the techniques used in this project, including tips on construction and customization, knitting I-cord for the straps, and a special Twisted Center Double Decrease featured in the gorgeous lace body. You’ll have everything you need to make this top your own!

And let’s talk about that yarn - Plumeria is especially stunning when knit in a fingering weight yarn with lustrous drape, like Smoked Sock, a scrumptious blend of 70% natural light grey baby alpaca, 20% silk, and 10% cashmere by Olann. But feel free to get creative and use that special fiber blend you’ve been saving in your stash, like alpaca, cashmere, silk, yak, bamboo, linen, or other fine blends with luxe drape and excellent stitch definition.
