Sorrel French
Sorrel is knit top-down, seamlessly in the round using one strand of sock yarn held with one strand of mohair silk lace. The yoke features richly textured linear dip stitches (don’t worry if you’re unfamiliar with this type of tucked/smocked stitch, it’s easy and a video tutorial is included with the pattern!) and a reverse stockinette body- knit inside out so you don’t have to purl the entire time.
Designed to be easily customizable to your preference, Sorrel can be styled with 0”-5” of positive ease (or more!), cropped or full-length, 3/4 length sleeves or long!
While the sample is a 4-color fade (kits available!) Get Creative! Fade from stash yarns with as many colors as you wish or choose a single speckled colorway with a complementary mohair silk that will make the yoke pop!

The combination of mohair + sock creates an exciting opportunity to fade several colors together as the mohair has a magical way of blending and softening the colors held alongside it, especially in reverse stockinette.
Classic Sock is a 4-ply sock yarn of 100% Superwash Merino with a strong round twist and silky texture with the slightest sheen. It blooms upon blocking making deliciously plump stitches.
Mohair Silk is a laceweight 72% kid mohair, 28% silk blend with a soft halo surrounding a strand of gently twisted silk core. As soft as a bunny’s tummy this blend lends a gorgeous halo to your finished piece.
